Most of us do not spend a lot of time thinking about the conditions of the prisons across our nation, but we should… because what happens inside jails and prisons does not stay inside jails and prisons. A sermon by Lynn M. Acquafondata that was chosen for the 2010 Skinner Award will be read.

August 1st – Potluck & What are "Soulful Circles" Anyway?
This fall UUCH will join the growing number of Unitarian Universalist congregations who use the concept of small group ministry to enrich their experience of community. We will discuss why these groups have been so successful in other congregations and how this program will be developed at UUCH. This service will follow our First Sunday potluck brunch.

As Unitarian Universalists, we come from a long line of people who ask, "Who's the Boss?" In whom and in what do we rely in order to discern right from wrong, and in making sense of life? What is the difference, if any, between moral authority and religious authority?
