The UUCH Children and Youth are making Blessing Bags for the Orange County homeless population. Our goal is to create 75 bags. Thank you all for your support of our children’s project. To date, we’ve collected 48 granola bars, 15 bottles of water, 9 flashlights, 48 pairs of waterproof warm socks, and $12 in quarters. Will you please help us, as we would like to collect: 27 granola bars, 60 bottles of water, 27 waterproof warm socks (see Aimee Tattersall for specifics), 66 flashlights, 75 triple A batteries, and 252 quarters? Every week or so we will make a specific request as we collect items to assemble into the bags. A box will be placed in the entryway at Church. Questions? Contact Jenn Hancock (email@example.com, 919-906-7512) or Aimee Tattersall (firstname.lastname@example.org or 919-522-1845)
